Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years medical billing experience. Knowledge of Anesthesia is preferred. Must possess proficient knowledge of managed care, commercial and federal agencies in addition to workers comp. Solid understanding of medical terminology as well as CPT and ICD10 codes required. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Business Development is responsible for supporting the senior management team with acquisition of new client accounts. Identifies and engages with new customers through referrals, networking, and cold calling. Develops and maintains relationships with Key Stakeholders for existing and prospective clients. Understands the importance of building trust and rapport and where premier customer service is the focus. Enjoys deep connections in the medical industry and a developed book of business.

Understands pain points of physician practices and aligns our services to match their needs. Experienced at using various sales strategies to engage interest. Creates and distributes advertising materials to attract new clients, and support existing client relationships. Works in collaboration with senior team to successfully close the sale and onboard the practice to IPMS platform.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and manage target opportunities maintaining competitive analysis of potential clients. Call on potential accounts that senior team has identified as prospects.
  • Define and execute a well-defined sales plan
  • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required 
  • Compile data and manage all prospects of IPMS
  • Create leads, build pipeline and drive deal flow to assist with closing net new business
  • Deliver compelling presentations that convey the pain points of our prospects and the value proposition of our solutions
  • Work closely with the Senior Management team to develop and recommend service and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long term market share
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Monitor market and competitor activity and provide feedback to Senior Management team
  • Represent IPMS at trade association meetings to promote billing and management services and develop new leads
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
    Experience: 5+ years working in sales in the healthcare service sector
  • Sales — understands the sales process and knows how to effectively work with a sales team.
  • Industry knowledge – Understands the MSO Model and has proven success selling management services
  • Revenue Cycle Management – Understands the complexities of billing and reimbursement and has thorough understanding of the revenue cycle of a claim, insurance carriers, insurance products, Medicare, etc.
  • Extensive customer on-boarding
  • Project management — because NBD is responsible for managing multiple leads, accounts, presentations, they must be able to track and execute deliverables across timelines.

Job Description
Integrated Physicians Management Services, a Management Services Organization located in East Hartford, CT has an opening for a medical billing clerical assistant to join its Team of professionals. The clerical assistant is responsible for supporting the medical billing team.

POSITION SUMMARY: The primary function of the clerical assistant is to provide support to facilitate and assure proper billing and collections of Accounts Receivable. Works in concert with Medical Billing Team for the common purpose of providing outstanding customer service and maximum reimbursement to our clients whereby maximizing overall satisfaction. Assures that team tasks are performed timely and accurately to allow for smooth operations and minimizing claim denials and optimizing client revenue and overall satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cross trained in order to provide transparency of production demands during team member vacations and absences.
Downloads demographic information from various clients, including hospitals via email secure website or hospital terminal in order to transfer data into the billing system format (Healthpac). Edits downloaded information and completes all aspects of required fields to assure the registration and creation of accurate patient accounts on the Healthpac billing system.
Researches and updates incorrect addresses and returned mail in an effort to assure claims and correspondence are sent timely and correctly to the appropriate recipient.
Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Minimum Education Requirement : High School Diploma.
  • Minimum Experience : 1-2 years of clerical experience within a medical or billing office environment is preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
