Wellpoint Federal Announces New Bank Lockbox Addresses Effective November 7, 2026

Wellpoint Federal has announced changes to its Bank Lockbox mailing addresses for provider refund payments and related correspondence, effective November 7, 2026. Providers serving Medicare jurisdictions affected by these changes should update their payment processing and mailing records to ensure refunds and other mailed transactions are sent to the correct location.

For providers in Connecticut and other JK jurisdictions, new mailing addresses have been established for Part A, Part B, Home Health and Hospice (HHH), and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) transactions. Alternate overnight delivery addresses are also available for organizations using services such as FedEx, UPS, or USPS Express Mail.

Providers are encouraged to review the updated lockbox information and update internal procedures, billing systems, and vendor records before the effective date to avoid processing delays. The new addresses will also be reflected in the Wellpoint Federal website’s Contact Us and Mailing Addresses section once the changes become active.
